![]() Having spent almost every free minute since I woke up at silly o’clock on Thursday reading it, was I selfish to purchase a virtual read just for me, or should I have been patient? Were this an adult read I would not think twice about buying an e-version but although I cannot share this with my class, my conscience is clear – this was a book bought solely for my pleasure and my goodness, it was an enormous pleasure to read it. Published as a hardback a few days ago, I preordered a copy to be downloaded onto my trusty Kindle because I have dexterity issues which mean I struggle with bigger/heavier books and there was simply no way I was prepared to wait for the paperback version. I say almost because this is a very notable exception. ![]() ![]() ![]() Almost without exception this year, the children’s books I have bought have been paperbacks, which I have bought with a view to taking into school to add to my little library once I’ve read and reviewed them to share with my class. ![]()
